WakeHard ("the app") is developed by Gaurav Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
WakeHard has no server. Your alarms — times, labels, repeat days, mission settings and sounds — are stored only in the app's local database on your phone. We never receive them, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app.
If you choose the QR-code mission, the app uses your camera to read the code you registered. The camera image is processed on your device to detect the code and is never uploaded, recorded or stored. Only the text content of the code you registered is saved locally, so the app can tell whether you scanned the right one. Camera access is requested only when you set up or run that mission.
The shake mission reads your device's accelerometer while the alarm is ringing, purely to count shakes. Those readings are used in the moment and never stored or transmitted.
The app schedules alarms through your device's alarm and notification services so they can ring on time, including when the app is closed. On Android this uses the exact-alarm capability, which a genuine alarm clock is permitted to use. No notification content leaves your device.
Premium is processed by the store you bought from — Google Play on Android, or the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad — and managed through RevenueCat, which receives a pseudonymous identifier and purchase state so the app can unlock Premium. We never see your payment details.
On the free tier, ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process an advertising identifier subject to Google's privacy policy. Ads appear on the alarm-list screen and occasionally after you dismiss an alarm; there are never ads while an alarm is ringing or while you are completing a mission. Premium removes ads entirely. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. On iPhone and iPad, WakeHard does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so the identifier used for tracking is not available to it; you can review this under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We may collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase) to improve reliability. These record events such as an alarm being created, an alarm ringing, or a mission being completed, plus technical details of a crash. They contain no personal identity data, no alarm labels, and no camera or sensor data.
No account is required. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or photo library, and we do not sell data to anyone.
Deleting an alarm removes it immediately, and uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device. For any privacy request, contact appsbygaurav@gmail.com.
WakeHard is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
