A genuine alarm has to survive the phone being locked, silent, or the app being closed. Most missed alarms come down to system permissions:
The fastest way to check your setup is the Test it now card at the end of onboarding, or "Test my setup" on the Settings screen — it rings a real alarm a minute out.
To stop a WakeHard alarm you complete a mission: solve a math problem, shake the phone a set number of times, scan a QR code you registered, or tap. Choose the mission per alarm in the alarm editor. The alarm keeps ringing until the mission is done.
Snooze is off by default — the mission is the only way out. You can turn snooze on for an individual alarm in the alarm editor; even then, every snoozed ring makes you complete the mission again.
WakeHard Pro (a one-time purchase, with an optional annual subscription) removes ads and unlocks the harder missions. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. If you reinstall or switch devices, open the paywall and choose Restore Purchases to get Pro back on the same store account. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account or Google Play settings.
WakeHard has no account and no server — your alarms live only on your device. Deleting an alarm removes it immediately, and uninstalling the app removes all of its data. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
